What if water spots repeatedly dry on the glass, or I do not follow the care recommendations?
A wipe down with soapy water and a microfiber cloth should do the trick. However, if the spotting is excessive, DFI offers a Consumer Maintenance Kit, which includes the necessary components to restore your glass to like-new condition.
What products should I use to clean my windows?
The best cleaning solution is liquid dish soap and water. Or you may also use the optional cleaning products listed below:
- Ammonia-Free Windex®
- Sprayway® Ammonia-Free Glass Cleaner
- Seventh Generation® Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner
- White household vinegar diluted with water
What products should I avoid when cleaning my windows?
Do not use any harsh chemical cleaners, abrasives, or steel brushes to clean and care for your glass. Using these types of products will void your warranty.
What does the warranty include?
DFI is solely responsible for the protective coating applied to your windows. Diamon-Fusion® is guaranteed not to haze, chip, crack, peel, or yellow for the lifetime of the glass when applied by an authorized applicator. In the event that your glass cracks, or if there are problems with the hardware on the windows, please contact the supplier/company who installed the glass.
