Vitro Introduces HydroClean™ Powered by DFI with World’s First Jumbo-Size CVD Chamber
Irvine, CA, January 7, 2012 – Diamon-Fusion International (DFI) announced, today, the introduction of Vitro’s new easy-to-clean HydroClean™ coating, powered by DFI, through the world’s first jumbo-size 3D chamber, acquired by Vitro Vidrio y Cristal, SA de CV, flat glass business unit of Vitro S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: VITROA). This new launch by Vitro represents the full adoption of DFI’s multi-functional protective glass coating by one of the largest glass manufacturers.
Utilizing DFI’s 3D Chamber System with HydroClean™, Vitro can treat thousands of square feet of glass on both sides of the surface in less than an hour, while reducing costs up to 75% versus hand-applied coatings. Each piece of glass is treated with the patented HydroClean™, making them highly water and oil repellent, easier to clean, impact and scratch resistant, and more brilliant. The DFI 3D Chamber System offers the most cost-effective, high-quality application process in the world.
