Today, Diamon-Fusion International (DFI) announced that international glass fabricator, Templa J.I.B. S.L. Toledo, Crystal Glass and Tempering, will add the value-added benefit of Diamon-Fusion low-maintenance coating to their glass. The process will be automated through the Company’s newly purchased FuseCube. The automated hydrophobic coating machine will allow Templa J.I.B. to consistently coat all sides of the glass at half the single-sided cost.

“As the functionality and capabilities of glass have evolved over the past few years, so has the demand for a high-quality glass protectant. By integrating the FuseCube’s automatic capabilities into our production process, not only are we getting double the protection at half the cost while eliminating application labor costs, but we’re getting it with the highest quality protective coating. It truly is a win-win scenario. And because the chemical gets vaporized throughout the chamber, we can say with complete confidence that our glass will be offered with the same consistent quality, every time”.

“We see a new trend of offering a high value protective coating in the glass and ceramics industry. And, in Europe, Spain has been leading this trend by incorporating Diamon-Fusion low-maintenance coating as a standard feature on their shower doors. Our next generation FuseCube Flex, which we recently launched at Glasstec, is equipped with everything any glass fabricator will need to be successful, including a new maximum uptime guarantee, with an unmatched 3-year manufacturing warranty. We look forward to a long-term supply partnership with the Templa JIB Team.”
A key function of the Company’s new FuseCube is its ability to treat all types of glass. This feature will give Templa the ability to apply an easy-to-clean protective coating to all their high-end, specialized glass products – a key advantage in the market.
The 20-year old innovative glass fabricator is set to have the newly designed FuseCube Flex implemented in their 22,000 square foot factory in Sonseca, Toledo in early 2017.
