ALTRECA TOWER

The Altreca Tower features some of the highest quality material granite and marble floors/walls. Thinking about energy consumption and maintenance costs reduction, the building owner inquired about a hydrophobic (protective) glass coating that could be applied to the glass façade at the fabrication facility.

Vitro Architectural Glass, the glass manufacturer in charge of this project, recommended their protective glass coating solution, HydroClean (powered by Diamon-Fusion®), be applied to the exterior glass façade. The easy-to-clean coating chemically bonds to the glass, creating an ultra-thin barrier resistant to staining and etching. In addition, Vitro’s HydroClean enhances the brilliance of the glass, while eliminating the need for harsh chemical cleaners.

Approximately 86,110 sq. ft. (8,000 sq.m.) of the Altreca Tower’s curtain walls were treated with Vitro’s HydroClean.
