HOW DIAMON-FUSION® WORKS?
At a microscopic level, glass is quite rough. Inevitably, this allows hard water and environmental pollutants to easily penetrate the surface causing unwanted stains. Diamon-Fusion® is a patented two-step process that chemically bonds to the glass filling in the microscopic peaks and valleys of the surface. The result is an ultra-thin, transparent barrier that seals the glass.
Tested and approved by: DOWSIL™ Sealants, Sika® Sealants, Intertek, Fenzi, Smith-Emery, and Chemir. CSI Reference Section 09 01 10.92 – Protective Surface Treatments.

PROMOTES A GREENER ENVIRONMENT
Diamon-Fusion® was the first hydrophobic coating to be specifically reviewed in compliance with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), promoting a healthier, greener environment. The use of Diamon-Fusion® on PV modules can contribute to the Energy Performance and/or Renewable Energy Production credits under LEEDv4 or LEEDv4.1.
SUITABLE FOR NEW AND EXISTING GLASS
Diamon-Fusion® can be applied new and existing glass surfaces at the home or on commercial property. Glass applications include insulated, Low-E, satin-etched, tempered, laminated, textured, patterned, and bent glass, as well as windows, solar panels, glass railings, shower doors, tile, granite, porcelain, and much more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can the DFI team just restore glass and not apply the Diamon-Fusion® coating?
Absolutely! If you are only looking to restore your glass that has been damaged by hard water stains or outside pollutants, our onsite application team can restore the glass to like-new condition.
Can Diamon-Fusion® be applied to Low-E glass?
Yes, it can! Also, because Diamon-Fusion® keeps glass cleaner for longer and optimizes the energy output of high-performance windows, as a result, it will also enhance the performance of Low-E glass.
Once Diamon-Fusion® is applied to the glass, can it be handled or touched?
Absolutely! Diamon-Fusion® has no cure time, which means once the coating has been applied to the glass, it instantly bonds to the glass so the glass can be handled and the benefits can be noticed immediately. In addition, Diamon-Fusion® is also chemically inert which means that there are no adverse reactions when the coating is applied to the glass.
Can Diamon-Fusion® contribute to LEED points?
Yes! Diamon-Fusion® with a Health Product Declaration (HPD) contributes one point for the LEED v4 BD+C ratings system. In addition, Diamon-Fusion® HPD’s also contribute to WELL, CHPS, and Mindful Materials.
Prior to applying Diamon-Fusion® on-site, does the surface need to be cleaned?
Depending on the quality of the glass and how long it has been installed, DFI recommends that the glass is cleaned to achieve a quality application. However, if the glass is newly installed and/or it is not stained or etched, Diamon-Fusion® can be applied to surface without any issues.
