9 benefits of a glass coating on car windshields

On a microscopic level, glass is actually quite rough, and the older a car windshield is, the rougher it gets. It can be noticed, for example, that an older windshield is pitted with hundreds of little dots – the residue of impacts left from rainwater, road grime, environmental pollutants, and much more.
