Jefferson Development Group is a Louisville, Kentucky based real estate development company specializing in the management and construction of luxury, urban properties. Since its inception in 1987, Jefferson Development Group has been involved in the preservation and redevelopment of historic buildings, building new properties and buying property with an eye to future value. Jefferson Development Group owns and manages distinctive commercial, retail and residential properties in Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Georgia and Florida.

The Company currently owns or holds significant ownership interests in more than 1.5 million square feet of commercial and residential real estate.

The Problem.

The nearly 30,000 square feet of glass at the Jefferson Group’s high-end commercial property was in terrible condition due to air conditioning unit condensation which caused unsightly staining and left the exterior glazing with a white haze. It was also reported that the building owner could not sell the property due to the unsightly water marks formed on the glass.

The Solution.

After trying several cleaning methods, the Jefferson Development Group turned to DFI’s on-site services team to restore their commercial glazing to a pristine, like-new condition. Diamon-Fusion is a patented, low-maintenance coating that fills in the microscopic peaks and valleys of any glass surface, creating an ultra-thin protective barrier that repels water and environmental pollutants for an easier to clean surface.

The Outcome.

The glass was successfully restored from the damage/stains caused by the air conditioning runoff and ultimately brought back to a like-new appearance. Diamon-Fusion protective coating was then applied to the glazing to prevent future damage, reduce maintenance and enhance the brilliance.
