MARRIOT HOTEL SUKHUMVIT

After installing newly built canopies on the 45th floor of the Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit’s Sky Lounge, hotel management inquired about applying a protective coating that would protect the glass from water stains and outside pollutants. Due to the canopies intricate design and hard-to-reach locations, hotel management also stressed the importance of a coating solution that would make cleaning easier and less frequent.

Upon testing a few protective glass coatings in the industry, the client chose to have BP Interproducts (a certified Diamon-Fusion® applicator in Thailand) treat all their canopies with the patented protective coating. The client explained that after seeing first-hand how effective Diamon-Fusion® was, along with DFI’s success rate in working with other Marriot hotels around the world, the choice was simple.

Over 200 m2 of the newly built glass canopy was treated with Diamon-Fusion low-maintenance coating, providing superior environmental protection and beautiful, longer-lasting glass. The Marriot management team also explained that they could see the visual benefits of the protective coating – mainly how clear the glass was and how smoothly the water was beading (sliding) off the surface.
